Depression and suicide aren't always apparent, and even when one has nothing left they can manage to feign a peaceful disposition~
lyrics
Oh I'm falling through the atmosphere
To the trees oh
I am calling to the ocean
Save me please
Sometimes I feel like there's no reason for me to move on
So I cry out for help, all my hope is gone
And I'm drowning, it's almost done
I'm done with life, done with living, and I'm left stunned
I wanna be like the birds, when it gets cold here
Fly to a world without fear
I don't have to listen to the pain
Pulling me down, wash my mind away
And I don't really care about being alive
When so long ago you took away my will to survive
Now I say goodbye because I can't take this panic anymore
When my mind goes numb from the hopelesness in store
So please, don't cry, not that you would even care
I don't need a helping hand, not when you were never there
When I throw in the towel, I won't lie
And when I close my eyes, I will kiss the pain goodbye
Oh
Oh I'm falling through the atmosphere
To the trees oh
I am calling to the ocean
Save me please
Time lies, aging the young, we're not who we were
Not so long ago when our heart came first
And we dreamed of a world filled with fantasy
Now we're stuck in a world filled with apathy
It's hard to care when you know that you could never try
To rely on the hope that there's more to life
So we give up and crawl away into our minds
And try so hard to relive that freedom one more time
Please understand, I was flying so high
Then I lost my wings , all I do is cry
And my innocence is gone, when did it die
Someone look me in the eyes and tell me it's alright
Tell me I still have a chance to save my mind
Maybe we do, a spark can light the fires
Of hope inside, and we can live once again
Is this really the end
Oh I'm falling through the atmosphere
To the trees oh
I am calling to the ocean
Save me please
Oh I am calling to you
I am falling through
I have fallen from life
I have stalled when I fly
Awesome album from start to finish. PW's destinctive style is present throughout, but every track is a fresh effort, and the album successfully transitions from driving rock to mellow contemplation without sounding forced or rehashed. I'm not as big of a fan of the remixes, but I appreciate their inclusion and unique perspective. Hard to ask for more than 16 tracks with no skips! theCANderson
